Copyright Policy

The Athletes Around Platform, including its original software, design, layout, graphics, logos, icons, branding, text, interfaces, features, functionality, and other content created by or for Athletes Around, is owned by or licensed to Athletes Around LLC and may be protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by Athletes Around or applicable law, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, publicly display, publicly perform, sell, license, transmit, or create derivative works from Athletes Around-owned content.

Nothing in this Policy or your use of the Platform transfers ownership of Athletes Around's intellectual property to you.

Athletes Around allows users, athletes, organizers, teams, schools, organizations, and other authorized users to upload, post, or share content through the Platform.

This may include:

• Photos and videos;
• Posts and comments;
• Profile and organization images;
• Team and organization logos;
• Event flyers;
• Schedules and rosters;
• Event descriptions;
• Scores and statistics;
• Documents and graphics; and
• Other user-submitted materials.

You may only upload, post, share, or distribute content that:

• You created or own;
• You have permission to use;
• You are properly licensed to use; or
• You otherwise have a lawful right to use.

Athletes Around is a sports-focused platform. Content displayed through the Platform may include materials associated with athletes, teams, schools, leagues, tournaments, photographers, broadcasters, facilities, organizations, and other third parties.

Logos, photographs, videos, broadcasts, graphics, promotional materials, and other content may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

Users are responsible for obtaining any necessary permission before uploading or using third-party materials on Athletes Around.

Users may not use Athletes Around to knowingly infringe another person's copyright.

Examples of prohibited activity may include:

• Uploading another photographer's images without permission;
• Reposting copyrighted videos without authorization;
• Uploading copyrighted broadcasts or substantial portions of broadcasts without authorization;
• Copying graphics, promotional materials, or other protected works without permission;
• Removing copyright notices or ownership information from another person's work; or
• Falsely claiming ownership of another person's copyrighted material.

If you believe content available through Athletes Around violates your copyright, please contact us and provide enough information for us to review the issue.

Your report should include:

• Your name and contact information;
• A description of the copyrighted work;
• Identification of the content you believe infringes your rights;
• The location of the content on Athletes Around, such as a link to the relevant post, profile, organization, event, photo, or video;
• An explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized; and
• Any information reasonably necessary to establish your ownership or authority to act for the copyright owner.

Athletes Around may review copyright complaints and may remove or restrict access to content when we reasonably believe it violates this Policy, our Terms of Service, applicable law, or the rights of another person.

Athletes Around may also contact the user who submitted the content and request additional information.

Removal of content does not necessarily constitute a legal determination that copyright infringement occurred.

Users who repeatedly violate copyrights or other intellectual property rights may have their ability to upload content restricted.

Depending on the circumstances, Athletes Around may:

• Remove content;
• Issue warnings;
• Restrict account features;
• Suspend an account; or
• Permanently terminate an account.

Certain uses of copyrighted material may be permitted by applicable law, including circumstances involving fair use or other legal exceptions.

Athletes Around does not determine whether every particular use of copyrighted material qualifies as fair use or another legal exception.

Users are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis for content they upload or share.

Names, logos, trademarks, service marks, and branding displayed through Athletes Around may belong to Athletes Around LLC or third parties.

Use of the Platform does not grant users ownership or a license to use another party's trademarks except where expressly authorized.

Users must not impersonate another organization or use another party's branding in a manner that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or authorization.

The Athletes Around name, logo, branding, application design, and related brand assets may not be copied or used to create the impression that another product, service, event, organization, or person is officially operated, sponsored, or endorsed by Athletes Around without our written permission.

Athletes Around reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this Copyright Policy and take appropriate action consistent with our Terms of Service and applicable law.

Users may not misuse the copyright reporting process to harass other users, knowingly submit false complaints, or attempt to remove lawful content for improper purposes.

Athletes Around may update this Copyright Policy from time to time.

If this Policy is updated, we may revise the "Last Updated" date above and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
